 Shendopen Productions

Downtown Office Now Open!! 205 E Main St West Point, MS!! While Shendopen Productions has been operating since 2005, it has never had a proper production office. However, on February 22nd 2010, Shendopen's downtown production office opened for business at 205 E Main St in West Point, MS! Shendopen is the West Point and surrounding area's source for video and photography services, as well as, independent short film production. Check out the services page for more information on what Shendopen can offer you, but do not limit yourself to just what is listed on the site. If you have a video or photo related need that is not listed. Let Michael Williams know and he will see if it is something Shendopen can offer you!
Apart from Video and Photography services, Shendopen now sales decorative, framed photographs at 205 E Main St!! Here are a couple examples of the prints for sale:
2 Films Screened at the Mag Film Fest!! Both Parted and The Mistake screened at the 2010 Magnolia Film Festival in Starkville, MS on Feb 18th and 19th. At the festival, The Mistake was awarded Best Student Film to Michael Williams and April Wren who co-wrote and directed the film. This is the second award for April Wren and first for Michael Williams.

New Shendopen Services Photography and 35mm Film and Slide Scanning
To start of 2010, Shendopen has now added a few new services.
SHENDOPEN PHOTOGRAPHY: Shendopen Photography is now fully functional. It is the perfect solution for engagement pictures, personal portraits, senior portraits, creative and decorative photographs, etc. If you're in need of senior portraits for this Spring, let me know!
For examples of Shendopen Photography visit click here
35MM FILM AND SLIDE SCANNING Also Shendopen now offers 35mm film and slide scanning. Negatives won't last forever and will begin to fade and deteriorate, so having them transferred to digital and reprinted is the best way to preserve them. If you take your negatives to somewhere like walgreens or walmart, the quality of the scanned picture is typically only good for prints of 4x6 or smaller. Shendopen can now scan all your images to the equivalent of a 12 mega pixels so that you can make great quality prints, and share your cherished photos online. Do you need to make enlargements (bigger than just 8x10), Shendopen can even scan your negative to the equivalent of 50 megapixels for large format printing.
Are you a 35mm photographer and are constantly disappointed with the quality of the scanned images you get when you have your negatives scanned? I purchased this scanner for this very reason, so that I could have complete control over my 35mm photography without having to spend 30 bucks a roll for high quality scans at a lab. I'll make sure you get the quality scans you want and a much more affordable rate.
PICTURE SCANNING Have boxes of printed family pictures that you would like scanned to digital and preserved for years to come? Shendopen can do that as well as make dvd slideshows of your cherished pictures for any occasion (birthdays, graduation, retirement, memorials, etc).
PRINTS With all of Shendopen's Photography services, you have the option of having high quality prints made from a professional lab where each print is quality checked before being sent back to me. Plus, I'll make sure each print is perfect, and if needed, make any corrections asap. Best of all, these prints are just as affordable as the ones made from department or drug store kiosks but greatly surpass them in resolution, color, and quality.
